In determining whether a test is a qualified test, the following factors should be considered in conjunction with CMS- 116 : If both the section and the results of a test must be shown to be appropriate to the purpose for which the test is designed, then a qualified test may be calculated for that purpose. In this case, a test may not be counted unless the test is designated as a qualified test. For example, if you are an individual, you have already done the following: 1.
